Our Story
We started over 20 years ago as a towing company. Day after day, we saw good vehicles get sidelined by engine and transmission failures, and we watched perfectly good drivetrains get crushed at the scrapyard. It did not make sense. So we started pulling, inspecting, and recycling quality engines and transmissions from the vehicles we towed, giving them a second life instead of letting them go to waste.
What began as a small side operation grew into a full-scale used auto parts business. Over the years, we built relationships with salvage yards, rebuilders, and remanufacturing facilities across the country. Today, Used-Engines.us connects customers with a nationwide network of over 500 suppliers, offering used, rebuilt, and remanufactured engines and transmissions for virtually every make and model on the road.

We specialize in engines and transmissions, which means our team knows the interchange data, common failure points, and compatibility details for thousands of applications. Not every engine or transmission that comes through our network makes it to a customer. We verify mileage, inspect for damage, and confirm fitment using VIN-based interchange data before anything ships. Remanufactured units are completely torn down and rebuilt with new or re-machined components to meet or exceed original factory specifications.
Real Warranty Protection
We stand behind what we sell. Used units come with a standard parts warranty. Remanufactured engines and transmissions are available with up to a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty covering both parts and labor. We are not going anywhere, and our warranty means something.
